Projects Update

Posted October 18 20, 2019

We have three projects at this time: poultry, goat, food production.

The goats and chickens are sold to raise funds to run project activities. The crops for feeding disadvantaged people in rural areas.

FON Ministries supports 11 students academically now. Others children receive material support such as food and clothing.

Currently 10 families are being supported through these mission strategies with a vision to support many more.  After the primary commitment to these families is met, surplus income from projects is used to provide more academic support for school children.  Your donations will help fund and grow larger crops and more stock.  Your support will in turn empower the mission to be more self sufficient and ensure it's longevity.

GOALS:   We wish to raise 60 birds and 40 goats by June 2020 next year. We have trained employees one per project and hoping to employ more as the projects grow.  This will help to make each project more sustainable in the long term.

Please help us bring hope to needy families by supporting one of these projects.

Poultry

Community Projects Funding

In Uganda, poultry production has a critical part to play in rural areas.  Family Of Needy Ministries is focused on reaching out to struggling rural families.  The poultry project supplies eggs all year round...

Food

Grown specifically for disadvantaged families

Weather has a huge impact on crops when families grow their own food.  A 4 month season with good weather for the ministrie's crop, will cost about 280US dollars and provides food for disadvantaged families.  With more funding, larger crops will be grown to support more people.  The need is great.

Goat

Community Projects Funding

Goats are hardy and survive harsh conditions. They have many uses. A small herd of 10 goats has been raised and as it multiplies the goal is to give a goat to each of the 10 families being supported at this time.  Each goat costs about 35US dollars per month to raise.
